I'm a Senior Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience in robotics and industrial automation. I currently work as a Product Engineer at Fives Intralogistics Spa in Italy, where I build the software that lets autonomous mobile robots operate safely on factory floors.
My work covers most of the development lifecycle: distributed system design, real-time algorithms, DevOps pipelines, and mentoring other engineers. What I care about most is building systems people can still understand and change two years from now, not just ones that work today.
Professional Experience
Current Role: Product Engineer at Fives Intralogistics (2021-Present)
I work on collaborative robotics platforms. Day to day that means:
- Building microservices communication libraries with encrypted messaging
- Refactoring a 500K+ line monolith toward a distributed architecture, in stages
- Writing SLAM and localization algorithms that hit sub-centimeter precision
- Building safety-critical real-time systems that meet industrial safety standards
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines that cut deployment cycles from weeks to hours
- Mentoring engineers on software architecture across the R&D department
Previous Experience: Robotics Software Engineer at Isfahan University of Technology (2016-2018)
At the ARMLab, I designed complete software stacks for autonomous mobile robots and developed:
